Service overview

With Rederij Lovers, you can tour the canals of Amsterdam on a one hour canal cruise, which will give you an impression of the seventeenth century canal system and the beautiful merchants houses from the golden age.

Since a lot of places of interest in Amsterdam are located on or near a canal, we have arranged two sceduled boat services to combine sightseeing and transport in a leasurly fashion. The Museumboot is a circular boat line passing by sixteen museums and some shopping and entertainment areas. Another service is the Artis Expres which brings you to the oldest zoo in the Netherlands and returns you to the Central Station through the Amsterdam canals.

We also offer special cruises in the evening. Our Dinner cruise combines a five course seasons menu with an ever changing view during a two and a half hour canal cruise. Later in the evening, you can enjoy our Candlelight cruise, a two hour romantic cruise with red and white wine and two varieties of Dutch cheese.

With Rederij Lovers you can rent a glass top canal boat, with a passenger capacity of 40 to 100 persons for your exclusive party or incentive.

For instance, you can have your guests transferred from their hotel to a congress centre or theatre. A private party on the canals is also possible. Our extensive catering facilities range from a cup of coffee to complete dinners, indonesian rice tables etcetera. All tailormade to your wishes.

For smaller groups, the Watertaxi offers a range of private boats which seat from eight to twenty-five passengers. These are for rent on a time base and can bring you to parts of Amsterdam that cannot be reached by the bigger canal boats.
